Area Control Procedural Refresher

Introduction

Goal

This course will provide participants with up-to-date knowledge, skills and attitudes required on the current procedures and regulations related to air traffic services of Area Control Service.

Objectives

Upon completion the course, the trainees will be able to:

•  Provide Area control services to the arriving, departing and overflying training within the related airspace.
• Apply up to date procedures on area control Procedural Service.
• Coordinate with the adjacent Areas and units.
• Handle unusual condition of area control Procedural

Course Content

• Module 0: Introduction
• Module 1: Control of area Arriving, Departing and overflying Traffic in the related airspace
• Module 2: Air Traffic Management
• Module 3: Handle Abnormal Situations according to ICAO standards and regulations.
• Practical Training Part

Prerequisite

• Participants must have ATC License.
•  Participants should have passed the ATS area procedural course code 055.
• Participants should have experience in providing area procedural control services.
