Aerodrome Control Tower Refresher

Introduction

Course Goal :

This course will review and update and reinforce knowledge, skills and attitudes of the aerodrome controllers so that they will be able to control air traffic within aerodrome effectively and efficiently in accordance with ICAO SARPs and national regulations.

Objectives

Upon completion the course, the trainees will be able to:

• Control Aircraft on maneuvering area;
• Control traffic other than aircraft on maneuvering area;
• Control VFR Flights;
• Control IFR Flight;
•  Manage traffic in abnormal condition.

• Passing the ATS Induction course Code 051
• Passing the ATS Aerodrome Control course Code 052
• Experience in Aerodrome traffic control
