Advanced Aerodrome Pre-flight Bulletin Issuance Course
Introduction
- Advanced Aerodrome pre-flight bulletin issuance course provides AIS officers with the knowledge, skills and attitude to provide the users with the professional bulletin needed at the aerodromes of departure required for aircraft operation.
Objectives
By the end of course trainees will be able to:
- Apply the new ICAO flight plan.
- Conduct accurately between item 10 and item 18 of the flight plan.
- Use the availability of item 18 in different aircraft operation.
- Verify the data in item 19 and keep it ready if required.
- Respond to the received NOTAM directly.
- Perform the accurate qualifier line of NOTAM.
- Execute the new amended format of SNOWTAM.
- Respond to the Mandatory information in SNOWTAM.
- Perform the airplane performance calculations in SNOWTAM.
- Demonstrate examples of new SNOWTAM format.
- Issue SNOWTAM with the new amendments implemented last year.
- Demonstrate the system design for Automated pre-flight information service.
- Determine the Additional services for Automated pre-flight information service.
- Describe the types of PIB.
- Apply the applications of the PIB Format.
- Respond to the using of internet for the Provision PIB.

Prerequisite
