ICAO Advanced Aeronautical Cartography
Introduction
- The course aims to provide the Aeronautical Cartography Specialists with knowledge, skills and attitudes required to develop, analyze and evaluate all types of Aeronautical Charts effectively and efficiently in accordance with ICAO Annex 4, ICAO Aeronautical Chart Manual, Doc 8697, 2016, ECAR 311,
Objectives
After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Acquire the relevant concept of the modern Air Navigation Satellite Systems
- Identify the digital data sources used in the chart's productions
- Produce all types of local AIP charts using drawing tools
- Apply quality assurance procedures on the production Aeronautical Charts
