To enhance the understanding of how human performance, limitations, and behaviors influence aviation security operations, and to provide tools to manage human factors risks and improve AVSEC effectiveness.

• Identify common human errors and performance limitations.
• Apply human factors principles to screening, patrolling, access control, and surveillance.
• Recognize the impact of fatigue, stress, motivation, and team dynamics.
• Implement strategies to minimize errors and improve human reliability.
• Integrate human factors into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training.
