ICAO - Aviation Aeromedical Examiner Basic Course
Introduction
- The course aims to provide medical practitioners with competencies required to perform medical assessment for class 2 and 3 in accordance with ICAO Doc. 8984 and Civil Aviation Regulation Part 67
Objectives
After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the altitude, pressure, and other environmental factors affect human physiology.
- Assess the medical status of class 2 and class 3 Aviation professionals in accordance with ICAO standards and national regulations
- Identify the medical conditions that could impact flight safety
- Identify medical emergencies
- Manage medical records in compliance with regulations and aviation standards.
