Introduction

This course aims to provide participants with up to date knowledge, skills and attitudes on the current procedures and regulations related to be able to provide Area Control Surveillance.

Objectives

Upon successfully completion the course, Participants will be able to:

  • Identify aircraft
  • Provide separation between aircraft
  • Identify up to date regulations related to area control
  • Apply standard phraseology
  • Apply up to date procedures on area control surveillance
  • Handle unusual condition of area control surveillance
  • Describe aircraft performance and air navigation facilities
  • Control and Manage Area Control Surveillance Services to arriving, departing and overflying traffic

  1. Participants must have AT Controller License
  2. Participants should have Area Control Surveillance Ratting License
