Oversight of Competency Based Training
Introduction
This course aims at providing Aviation Training managers, Safety Professionals and CAA Inspectors with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to audit and assess competency-based training in accordance with ICAO Standards.
Objectives
Upon Successfully passing the course , participants will be able to :
- Describe the training concepts and fundamentals
- Conduct formal application of Competence Based Training
- Review CBT documentation
- Assess and certify proposed CBT program, and
- Develop an Oversight procedures for the approved CBT program
- Maintain and update CBT training Programs

- Module 0: Introduction
- Module 1: Training Concepts
- Module 2: Formal Application Phase on CBT Program.
- Module 3: Reviewing CBT Documentation
- Module 4: Assessment and Certification of CBT Program
- Module 5: Developing a Surveillance procedures for CBT program.
