ICAO Aeromedical Examiner Course: Advanced Level
Introduction
- This Course aims to provide Aeromedical Examiners with competencies required to perform Class 1 Medical Assessment in accordance with ICAO Doc. 8984 and ECAR Part 67.
Objectives
After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain physiology, psychology and clinical practice in relation to aerospace medicine
- Identify the Medical Status of Class 1 Aviation professionals
- Identify the concerned Aviation Professional Operational environment and its effects on job performance in different situations
- Evaluate Human Factors in Aviation and their effects on aviation performance
- Analyze Incidents and accidents from the medical perspectives
- Assess health risks related to the "tropical medicine diseases" in different geographical areas.
