Incident Command System (ICS)
Introduction
The Incident Command System, or ICS, is a management tool for command, control, and coordination of response operations during disasters and emergency responses. It provides a means to coordinate the efforts of individual agencies through a common goal of stabilizing the incident and protecting life, property, and the environment.
This course will equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools required to effectively control, coordinate, and command various incidents that may occur during daily airport operations.
Objectives
Upon completing this course, you will have the skills to:
- Explain the principles and structure of the incident command system (ICS).
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of the incident commander and all involved agencies.
- Identify different types of incidents at an airport.
- Establish and manage an emergency operation center (EOC) and mobile command post (MCP) for effective incident management.
- Coordinate resources, personnel, and communications during emergencies and operational disruptions.
- Manage airport incidents and emergencies in accordance with airport emergency plans and international best practices.

- 1) Emergency and crisis staff at the airport. & 2) Safety team at the airport. & 3) Airport operation managers. & 4) Airport rescue and firefighting team. & 5)All agencies’ staff involved in the emergency plan.

- 1) Introduction to incident command system.
- 2) Agencies involved in response to the incident.
- 3) Responsibility and roles of all involved in the incident.
- 4) Emergency operations center and mobile command post
- 5) (EOC & MCP) tasks and roles.
- 6) Airport rescue and firefighting (ARFF) task resource analysis and crew command.

3 Years Experience in Airport operation
