Airport Certification

Introduction

• This course covers the basic concepts and steps involved in certificating of the airport , participants will be taught the phases of the certification process based on ICAO SARPS

Objectives

• Assure airport compliance with the mandatory certification of airports/aerodromes. 
• Provide the participants with the knowledge and skills to assure that the airport/aerodrome meets or exceeds the requirements of ICAO's Annex 14 and Civil Aviation Regulations.
• Find out how to meet the applicable specifications of the aerodrome certificate.
• Understand the relevant Standards and Recommended Practices.
• Examine and discuss your obligations as an airport operator.
