Introduction
- This Course demonstrate the basic Requirement of Annex14 Vol. II According to ICAO SARPS
Objectives
- Provide the participants with theoretical and practical knowledge of heliport planning, and Certification\ acceptance process; this course provides the participants with an understanding of the fundamental principles of heliport design according to the international civil aviation organization regulations
- Implement the Annex 14 specifications related to surface-level heliports and elevated heliports.
- Gain knowledge on how to configure, dimension and design the fundamental infrastructure elements of these types of heliports.
- Understand and define heliports certification/acceptance process
- Explain the heliport operation manual contents.
- Describing heliport operation procedures
- Explaining rescue and firefighting plans
- Defining the Heliport safety management system
- Obstacle control
- Describing the procedures for the removal of disabled helicopters.
