Basic ILS
Introduction
- The objective of this course is to prepare the student to imagine how the ILS System works by concentrating on the radiation beams and the theory of operation and get into the structure of each station of the basic contents for the system.
- Also to know the importance of flight check and its procedures and tools.
Objectives
By The end of the Course Trainees Will able to:
- Work on any ILS system and monitor each module in the system.
- Understand the importance of the ILS as a major part in the NAV-aids And distinguish between the several versions of ILS station.
- Understand link between the ILS system and the other NAV-aids stations.
- Imagine the radiation pattern for the complete system and for each station Individually and how the aircrafts receive these patterns and translate it into Very useful information for landing process.
