Introduction
Objectives
At the end of course trainees will be able to:
- Provide the participants with theoretical and practical knowledge of heliport planning, and Certification\ acceptance process; this course provides the participants with an understanding of the fundamental principles of heliport design according to the international civil aviation organization regulations.
- Understand the description; applicability of Annex 14 V II to the International Civil Aviation Chicago convention
- Implement the Annex 14 specifications related to surface-level heliports and elevated heliports.
- Gain knowledge on how to configure, dimension and design the fundamental infrastructure elements of these types of heliports.
- Understand and define heliports certification/acceptance process
