AIM Specialist

Introduction

• The AIM specialist course aim at preparing the AIM officer to be a specialist in this new developed, very important field which support him with the knowledge, skills and attitude required to in the implementation of ATM components and merge among them effectively. 

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the basic AIM concepts.
• Characterize the AIM publications.
• Recognize the role and importance of AIM inspector.
• Extract the expected benefits of DNOTAM and eAIP.
• Differentiate between data verification and validation.
• Draw approach to the quality control of the raw data.
• Extract the new services provided by AIM.
• Describe role of AIM to provide ATM.
• Extract the common reference system of air navigation.
• Describe the integrated briefing.
• Extract the AIXM versions and specifications.
• Draw approach to the advantages of AIXM in eAIP and DNOTAM.
• Determine the eAIP Specification and limitations.
• Scan the eAIP User and Producers Benefits.
• Extract the expected benefits of DNOTAM.
• Recognize the data model of DNOTAM.

Prerequisite

• Participants should be at least active AIS Officers working in AIS Units.
• Participants must prove an aviation background through:
• ICAO Code Course 051, or
