Safety Oversight Aerodrome Inspectors Course


Introduction

This course will provide senior CAA aerodrome inspectors with the skills to assist states in stablishing and managing an effective safety oversight system through the implementation of the eight critical elements of such a system to meet the responsibilities, functions and duties of ICAO member states with respect to aviation safety oversight.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  1. Review Legislative Framework for Safety Oversight
  2.  Determine Safety Oversight Capacity
  3. Manage Certification, Approval and Authorization
  4. Understand the ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs)
  5. Understand the roles and responsibilities of an aerodrome inspector
