ICAO Basic Aeronautical Cartography

Introduction

• The course aims to provide the AIS/GIS Officers with knowledge, skills and attitudes required to develop the Aeronautical Charts effectively and efficiently in accordance with ICAO Doc. 8697, ECAR 311

Objectives

After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to

• Interpret Geodesy Datums, Projections and coordinate system
• Identify Aeronautical Cartography Structure and contents
• Classify aeronautical charts
• Draw Aeronautical Charts as a Practical Training by AUTO CAD tools

• Master The Oral And Written Expression of English Language.
