Introduction
Is to provide the participants with understanding with the fundamental principles underlying the effective and efficient regulation of safety and conformity standards in aircraft maintenance required of state’s aviation regulation body.
Objectives
At the end of the course, the participants should be able to:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of an airworthiness inspector.
- Understand the ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and other national civil aviation regulations on safety oversight relating to airworthiness.
- Review and update your organisation's safety oversight mechanisms relating to airworthiness

- Module 4: Airworthiness Standards, mandatory airworthiness requirements and reporting.
- Module 5: Aircraft Registration
- Module 6: Type certificate, supplemental type certificate, repair and modification.
- Module 7: State of the Operator
- Module 8: State of Design and State of Manufacture
- Module 9: Human factors in aircraft maintenance
Prerequisite
A background in an aircraft Maintenance is an advantage
