Incident Management and Fire Investigation
Introduction
- To empower inspectors ability and auditing skills in conducting fire incident/accident investigation and aircraft accident investigation to ensure effective oversight of service providers.
Objectives
- Determine all factors, human, materiel, and environmental, which directly or indirectly contribute to the accidents and thus help prevent recurrence of similar accidents
- Taken in consideration that "The Sole Objective" of an aircraft accident or incident investigation is the prevention of future accidents and incidents. It is not the purpose of an investigation to blame or liability. Any judicial or administrative proceeding to apportion blame or liability should be separate from any investigation conducted).
- Determine all factors, human, materiel, and environmental, which directly or indirectly contribute to the accidents and thus help prevent recurrence of similar accidents, issue the final report
- Define aircraft accident fire pattern investigation and survival, evacuation, search, rescue and fire fighting
