Aeronautical Information Management (AIM)

Introduction

• The AIM course aims at preparing the AIM officer to be a specialist in this newly developed, very important field which support him with the knowledge, skills, and attitude required in the implementation of ATM components and merge among them effectively. 

Objectives

At the end of this course the trainees will be able to:

• Determine the differences in the new definitions added.
• Identify the requirements of the AIM.
• Execute the Data integrity monitoring and assurance.
• Respond to the QMS in AIM.
• Encode metadata.
• Perform Aeronautical information in a standardized presentation.
• Notify the digital data required.
• Monitor the distribution service.
• Pass the pre-flight information briefing.
• Scan the aeronautical information services updates.

• Module 1: Introduction to AIM
• Module 2: AIP- FPL

Prerequisite

• The trainees have to have basic AIM or supervisors in AIS sector or at least have 15 years' experience in AIS field.
