Pilot Environment for Procedure Designer
Introduction
· Practical training to understand the implication of the aircraft flying within execute instrument flight procedures (IFP).
Objectives
- Candidates for Pilot Environment for Procedure Designer training are expected to be experienced (Pilots / Navigators / Air traffic controllers / Procedure designers) with extensive operational experience.
- Requires the application of a wide variety of skills, experience and knowledge and the conduct of flight Environment involves complex multi-tasking capabilities.
- Typically, suitable candidates with the proper capabilities have received earlier training in flight procedure design. Consequently, a large part of the training is distributed to providing candidates with a sound knowledge of those elements of flying the aircraft to conduct flight procedure design that are relevant. It essential that the candidates have sufficient knowledge of flight procedure design and construction to enable competent evaluation of the procedures that are to be confirmed.
- It is also recommended that candidates have a sound knowledge of Performance Based Navigation operations, and particularly PBN approach

Prerequisite
· ATPL / Flight Dispatch / Procedure Designers.
· Experience in IFR operations.
· Experience and qualified in a related role such as flying operations inspector/procedure designer or calibration pilot.
· Capable to conduct RNP APCH operations in at least one aircraft type.
· Experience on FMS/GNSS equipped transport category aircraft.
