High Frequency Radio Telephony (HF/RT)
Introduction
- Trainees will understand the AMSO procedures used in high frequency radio stations and new Technology systems in the international aeronautical telecommunication field

- Upgrading their performance and be able to use the new technology related to Aeronautical Mobile Services Operations including new SELCAL
Be familiar with:
- All related definitions in Annex 10 Volume ll and other related Annexes
- General (AMS) operating Procedures
- Transmitting techniques including microphone techniques
- RTF call sign for both Aeronautical stations and Aircraft stations
- Test and replay used by aircraft stations on HF family frequencies
- Handling short and long HF messages
- Distress and Urgency conditions communications
- Knowing perfectly how to establish SELCAL and SELCAL procedures
- Knowing advantages of ATN Air/Ground and Ground/Ground Applications ADS, CPDLC, FIS,AMHS and AIDC
