ICAO - Initial PANS OPS


Introduction

Goal

This course will provide apprentice who have been recently recruited or transferred from another job with knowledge, skills, and attitude to design non-RNAV criteria for non-precision approach (NPA), arrival, precision approach (PA) and departure procedures in accordance with ICAO Doc.8168 VII and ECAR PART 311

Objectives

After successful completion of this course, the Participants will be able to:

  • Design Non RNAV NPA Procedure
  • Design Non RNAV Arrival Procedure
  •  Design Non RNAV PA Procedure
  • Design Non RNAV Departure Procedure.

  • ATC Officers / IFP designers.

  • Module 0: Introduction
  • Module 01: Design Non RNAV NPA Procedure
  • Module 02: Design Non RNAV Arrival Procedure
  • Module 03: Design Non RNAV PA Procedure
  • Module 04: Design Non RNAV Departure Procedure.

Prerequisite

  •  Master English Language
  • University Degree
  • Good Mathematical Skills
  • Preferable with aviation background
