Dangerous Goods Regulations Training (DGR)
Introduction
Objectives
By the end of this course the trainees should be able to:
- Identify and classify dangerous goods
- Interpret hazard communication
- Detect hidden dangerous goods in cargo and mail
- Learn to check documentation and packages for indications of undeclared dangerous goods
- Explain the basic Emergency Response procedures
Final Assessment (theoretical/practical)
a) Quizzes and task observation
b) Assessment
i. Simulation including documentation
ii. Job shadowing for 2 weeks with peer reports. A list of tasks to be carried out with a checklist to verify that the tasks have been carried out satisfactorily
Theoretical Examination at the end of the course.

- Module 06: Emergency Response Procedures
Prerequisite
- Successfully completed Basic Cargo Skills & Procedures Course
- Mastering English Language
- University diploma or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations is preferred
