CAA Approval of Training Organizations
Introduction
- This course aims to provide staff of Civil Aviation Authorities with the competencies to approve Aviation Training Organizations within their States and monitor the requirements of the approval, based on the appropriate ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and national regulations.
Objectives
After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the tasks executed by CAA ATO Office;
- Determine training activities that require ATO approval;
- Evaluate ATO Documents;
- Carry out Training Organization Approval Inspection; and
- Issue the appropriate ATO approval documents.

- Officers of CAAs responsible to assess and approve ATOs / to perform continuous monitoring of ATOs / Directors
- Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs) and aviation-related organizations.
